Ok I have been playing for awhile. I have ran a few Ap and played in AP's and PFS. I love the game but I am running into a bad case of the blahs for the game I like. I am have a hard time coming up with something I haven't seen played or watching other min-max charcters. I can't seem to get excited aboutthe new AP's. Right now, I started the reign of winter and My book has either sprouted wings or was five fingered discounted, which has me put off about the whole thing. Anyway, anyone got some suggestions to get me out of the funk I'm in.
1. Stop reading the forums.
2. Play the game. Not GM it, just play for awhile. Low levels.
3. Find someone you know and like to talk about the game with. Not builds, not DPR, not mechanics...just, the fun of roleplaying and playing Pathfinder with good people.
4. ...introduce the game to new people. Nothing makes me happier in Pathfinder than seeing a new player's eyes light up the moment they really get it and see the possibilities.
have you ever thought of starting a hombrew campaign? maybe infuse it with some horror?
Play something you hate, and try to love it. Get into the RP aspect. PFS is hard to do that with.

Play with people who don't walk off with your stuff without asking.
If you are running - look at what your players want their characters do be able to be good at and make sure that they get a chance to be bad asses. The more the player get a chance to feel like badasses the less they are likely to go for painfully min-maxed characters.
Find something you like about the story and play that up.
Take a break from Pathfinder - do something else.
I second the homebrew campaign, or just come up with some simple, one-shot adventures. I like having campaigns in episodic format where every adventure is short enough to be done in one or two sessions. It allows for players to switch out characters more often, and keeps the settings and everything fresh.

I've always thought it was good to have a second game, something completely different from what you normally do just to keep you from falling into a rut, to exercise your mind in different ways and eventually to give you a fresh perspective. CCG's have always been great for me for that purpose since, while they're not mindless, they are very different in what they stimulate in you than RPG's. We also used to have this table top gladatorial game that involved play-doh...
Take a break, come back to it later. Everybody needs to do something different from time to time.
