NPCs from the Codex as Pregens?

Advice

I'm running an initial playtest for a scenario I've written in a few hours, and I need some pregen PCs. I don't have enough time to make them from scratch, and I'm considering using characters from the NPC Codex. Does anyone have any reasons for or against this idea? Any quick responses would be appreciated, but I'm interested in people's opinions on this in general as well, as it may be a tactic I adopt for more playtesting in the future if it works ok.

Cheers!

There are Pregens of every class.

Do you not want to use them, or are you just trying to add more options?

I'm after 3rd level PCs - could you point me in the direction of the pregens you're referencing?

Telling me pregens exist is kinda useful - telling me where they are is more useful :)

Find some here.

Thanks, that's very useful. I'm going to have to go with NPC Codex PCs for tonight (need 3rd lvl), but that'll come in very handy in the future.

Well, if it helps, here, and here are some of mine.

Awesome!

Although the second link doesn't seem to be working for me...

What about now?

Thanks a lot BBT! Those two came in very handy, playtest went well too :)

No problem.

Those are left purposefully flavor-light, to be customized by players/DMs as desired.
