And that is kind of confusing me, are you activating Frostbite twice?

Yep, I had 2 charges of frostbite remaining. Any time I hit with my weapon it discharges a charge of the spell. After the second hit, the frost disappears from my blade.

Alright, cause I always thought a magus could only hold one charge at a time.

Standing and looking even worse for wear, the little goblin would continue his onslaught towards this shimmering man.

Bite - 22
Damage - 9

Claw 1 - 15
Damage - 5

Claw 2 - 13
Damage - 7

Arbiter:
Full-round action to full attack.

-4 from entangled, -1 from fatigued, -2 from sickened is a +5 to hit.
-2 from entangled, -1 from fatigued, -2 from sickened is a +3 to damage.

Bite 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Claw 1 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Claw 2 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Current AC: 26
Current Hit Points: 30 (21 non-lethal)

Mage Armor: 2 more rounds.

Shield: 13 more rounds.

Mirror image, again, one is me, 2-3 are images.

1d3 ⇒ 1

The goblin strikes true, ignoring the images and striking the correct one. Shigeharu clutches his wound and backs up, remembering something from his training. Goblins hate fire.

He draws a vial from his bandolier and hurls it into the goblin's face, setting him alight. He then moves with surprising speed behind the pillar to the right. Ends up being F17, but you can't see that right now

If 20 ranged touch hits your touch AC (and I really hope it does), you take 5 fire damage and are on fire.

Arbiter:
5ft move away to G12. Move: Draw Vial of alchemist's fire. Standard: Throw it--ranged touch attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Fire damage 1d6 ⇒ 5 Swift Action--runner's shirt to move to F17, drawing javelin on the way.

Shield Rounds Remaining: (12/20), Mirror Image Rounds Remaining: (23/30), Images Remaining: (2/3), Sword +1 (4/5) rounds remaining, Arcane Pool remaining (1/4). HP-9, Runner's shirt used.

The little goblin would squeal with pain while dropping to the ground and starting to roll about.

Arbiter:
Full round to try to stop being on fire.

Reflex 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Current AC: 24
Current Hit Points: 25 (21 non-lethal)

Mage Armor: 1 more rounds.

Shield: 12 more rounds.

I'm guessing you have something special to help you move after taking a 5-foot step despite its normal restrictions on further movement?

Yep, that is correct

Interesting...only thing I can think of is the Quick Runner's Shirt and I doubt that works with it. Though I get the feeling this fight is finally drawing towards a close.

Shigeharu moves around from the pillar and fires an icy blast at the scorched goblin.

Arbiter:
Move around to 25 ft from goblin (can't see map right now), drop javelin along the way. Swift: Arcane accuracy. Standard: Acid splash with vial of acid as material focus, touch attack Vs prone AC. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Acid damage 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Crit confirm 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Crit damage added 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Crit threat on a ray of frost. Does 23 hit your prone touch AC? If so you take 7 damage, otherwise 3.

Yep, it was quic runners shirt. .

A 23 will hit, though I'm not so sure that the Quick Runner's Shirt allows you to bypass the ruling of a 5-foot step allowing no further movement in a round.

My bad, I said ray of frost in the ooc but it was actually acid splash. Had it right in the spoiler but wrong in the OOC, so it's acid damage.

I would like a ruling on the 5-foot step/Quick Runner's Shirt usage. I don't think that works. However, if it does, you've got him.

Either way, good match. You definitely made this interesting.

Hmm, I thought that was the whole point of the item. Regardless, it shouldn't matter, right? If you're right, I waste my swift action last turn on something that doesn't work. You still put out the flames, I still shoot you. Right?

Seriously, this was a great match! Lots of fun, and I had no resources left, pretty much.

Not necessarily. Little goblin boy knows he's about to go down, if your 5-feet away, its more likely he would full-attack you in hopes of taking you down with him. Not to mention, Golarion Goblin's love fire.

Likewise, I chewed through my resources quickly and spells are about to start dropping off too. I wonder if we win the metal for longest match.

While we wait for the ruling, do you want to make your attacks and see if it's moot? I can't take the suspense! :-) And that was definitely a marathon match, hehe.

I can do that if you like. Lets see if you would need to make us some mirror image rolls

Bite - 24
Damage - 7

Claw 1 - 19
Damage - 9

Claw 2 - 17
Damage - 7

Arbiter:
If the Quick Runner's Shirt does not work, he would 5-foot and use a full round action to make a full attack.

-1 Fatigued, -2 Sickened +9 Attack
-1 Fatigued, -2 Sickened +5 Damage

Bite 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Damage 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Claw 1 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Damage 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Claw 2 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Damage 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

1 is me 1d3 ⇒ 2

Fire damage from alchemist's fire 1d6 ⇒ 4

So the first hits, but strikes an image. The second misses but is close enough to disperse he last image, the third misses. Good game!

Likewise. I admit defeat. Congratulations.

Scorched from head to toe, the little goblin would fall into pile of burning flesh and clothing.

Well fought, little goblin.

With a pivot, Shigeharu brings the katana down with deadly force.

Coup de grace = 23 damage, Fort save 37 to survive (deadly weapon).

Arbiter:
Coup de grace, two-handed 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (7, 6) + 10 = 23

Aye, you may not use a quick runner's shirt in addition to a 5-ft. step (or vice versa), but I think it's game either way.

End of Bout One
VICTORY TO SHIGEHARU

Bout Two
BASHA VS. CHOON

Bruno Bullrush: Smelly Dwarf astride a smelly camel. Win:2 Loss:6 Rep: 3

Bruno enters the arena on his bowed legs at a steady pace. Esmeralda at his side. Both look the part. Bruno wears chain mail and a thick wooden shield. In his right hand is a long lance. There are a pair I'd pillum on his back and two weapons on his belt. One is the traditional heavy pick and the other is the new addition of a sling with two pouches of bullets.
Esmeralda is decked in her studded leather armor. She eyes her foe warily. Bruno smiles. He was happy to get a close quarters fight. This should be fun.

dice:

Esmeralda: 5' step right.

Bruno swings into the saddle with a practiced grace before dropping all semblance of said grace and returning BASHA's challenge in kind.
He shouts, Have at ye, ugly! Just stay where you are and we'll see how tough you really are!, and punctuates it with a high arcing loogie.
Esmeralda steps to the right and bellows.

Step to K-L/10-11
Does BASHA count as Orc?

Gung-Ho Lunatic

He sure does count as Orc. Crap those dwarves and their bonuses

You think I'll stand here and let you charge me??? Come over here and fight like a man.

Move to B 8 behind the pillar and draw my sword as part of my move

Bruno Bullrush: Smelly Dwarf astride a smelly camel. Win:2 Loss:6 Rep: 3

Bruno growls under his breath in frustration.
So, BASHA not strong enough t' face me, eh? Figured. They all run an' hide at first.
Bruno soon reappears near his left hand wall, lance couched and ready.
move to K-L/7-8

The strike is well placed. BASHA lands a heavy blow on Bruno, and the sword comes away bloody. Bruno drops his lance to the dirt, draws forth his heavy pick, and responds with a mighty swing.
Esmeralda also gets into the action, bellowing and biting at the nasty Orc.

Don't want to be a bother, but shouldn't Bruno have an AoO on BASHA charge as his lance has reach?

Llaelian wrote:

charges don't provoke from the target, and Esmeralda doesn't have reach. If she did he would have provoked from her, but alas, she is a short necked camel.

Gung-Ho Lunatic

Well don't know about the AOO,in a normal game I would say if you don't take it it's gone, but since this is a special situation....I'm ok with it either way.It won't drop me anyway so I'll post my action

Well crap, those numbers are consistently better than mine? I am very impressed.

While the second attack is easily deflected, the first hits something vital, and Bruno drops off into unconsciousness just after.

Bruno has to win eventually, right?

We haven't run it that way so far. Once the main character is dead: game over.

Gung-Ho Lunatic

Good game then.
BASHA ,seeing bruno limply slip from his mount, sees the chance for a finishing blow.
Time to DIE Halfling
Coup de Grace

arbiter:

4d6 + 20 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 5) + 20 = 34

34 damage
Lifting his huge weapon overhead he brings it down like a comet.....

Woah woah woah, if Bruno is totally dead then the fight is over, but if he's merely unconscious Esmeralda certainly is still going to get in the way of that coup de grace. Also, there is (as far as I know) no special provision against hitting a charging opponent with an attack of opportunity. If someone can point me to one, that'd work, but otherwise Bruno gets an attack against BASHA from the charge.

Bruno Bullrush: Smelly Dwarf astride a smelly camel. Win:2 Loss:6 Rep: 3

Wow. After reading the rules again I don't see one either. Is that a 3.5 carryover?
In that case, here's the AoO

dice:

attack(incl. High ground and Vs. orc): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12
attack(E.): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
attack(E.'s coup AoO): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
attack(E.'s crit confirm): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
crit damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Attack: 30
Damage: 12
Then Esmeralda takes her attack on the dangerous Orc thing after bruno falls asleep
Attack:15
Damage:5
75% chance to stay in saddle 1-25 falls: 1d100 ⇒ 39
Bruno stays in the saddle thanks to its military design
Then, If Basha isn't down (which, with Orcish ferocity, i doubt he is) the coup comes through, provoking an AoO in the process:
Attack:Nat 20
Crit Confirm:14
Damage:7
Crit damage:8 (total 15)
And that should do it as Orc ferocity would still be up and any attack will drop Bruno under his Con
I sure do hope all this drops Basha dead, otherwise it comes down to the same result. :)

Gung-Ho Lunatic

No this does not drop BASHA.Still the same result.Actually I wanted to fight the camel before Bruno said it's over. But lets leave that aside for the sake of simplicity.BASHA eats all the extra attacks and still wins, all the same.

End of Bout Two
VICTORY TO BASHA

Bout Three
BRUNO VS. JEZEBEL

Jezebel sways into the arena a glowing blue rune etched into her forehead. Stunningly beautiful, with white blonde hair and a lithe figure, she carries a crossbow across her back with a quiver of bolts sticking up through a slot in her cloak. She wears beautifully tooled leaf armor in brown and green. In one hand she carries a scroll.

At her side is a very strange creature. It is midnight black in coloring except for the same glowing rune on its forehead. It has six legs and a very long neck upon which rests a crocodilian head filled with razor sharp teeth.

Arbiter:
Initiative 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

Bruno Bullrush: Smelly Dwarf astride a smelly camel. Win:2 Loss:6 Rep: 3

Bruno enters with the least sexy saunter anyone's ever had the misfortune to see. He is bedecked with chain mail, a heavy shield, and cloak. In his other hand is a well crafted lance. At his belt is a wicked looking pick, a sling, and several bags of bullets.
Beside him is his companion in death, Esmeralda. She is a spectacularly ugly camel in studded leather. You notice that her teeth seem to have been filed into points, and you could swear she was smiling at you.
