A player of mine is trying to convince me that he can stack the affects of multiple Bone Beads magic items. As far as I am aware you need to be wearing an item that takes up a slot in order to for it function. My player's argument is that because the item provides a spell effect, Command Undead, (which has quite a long duration), he can unequip the Bone Beads and the effect will continue until the duration is over. This allows him to equip another set of Bone Beads and use their effect. Is this possible, or does the effect end when he unequips the beads?
The beads only allow you to control 8 HD of undead anyway. Pretty sure it doesn't stack with itself. Regardless when someone tries to do this your allowed to veto if only for the sake of keeping the game balanced.
