Well said Krell,

I do have to quibble on one thing though. My loyalty is to the Lady. Having felt her embrace, it simply strengthens my resolve more. That the Crusade serves the Lady's interests, and attempts to bring other weapons to bear against the adversary, is more an example of Her hand working Her will, than any loyalty to the Crusade.

Really, do all decisions come down to such broad groups to you? Surely a member of, say the Order of the Nail, announcing he is here to arrest a murderer and felon would be granted a bit more respect than, say a scoundrel who comes in unannounced to kill someone for a vague reason with no notion of due process.

No he would not. I would try to keep an open mind about it, but in all honesty being a hellknight would make me LESS inclined to believe him. He has made a decision to enforce the law in a land where he knows that the legal system is a literal pact with dark forces. A murderer and a felon could just as easily be an escaped slave who turned on the master whipping him as a brigand preying on the innocent. The sanction of law is irrelevant in either case, only the justness of their motives matters.

Cheliax allows the good to grow in their blackened hearts. Whether that be the over confidence of Hell, I cannot say. Andoran prefers to ignore the black in their 'noble hearts' instead finding flaws in others.

Its triage. The person holding their intestines in their stomach is a more immediate problem than someone with a migraine. The forest fire is a bigger problem than a fungal blight. I feel for both, I WILL try to help both, but I can only be in one place at a time.

I've read enough pathfinder chronicles to know that thinking you're outsmarting the demon usually leads to ruin. By letting you divert your attention to helping the needy you're making them look good and letting them focus their efforts on expanding the empire... an empire they control. If you insist on law and order in a land where they write the laws then you're insisting on THEIR law and order, which is frankly worse than none.

Luckily it seems that those good followers of Andoran are starting to catch on that working for a nation with national problems may not mean that they will always be doing what is right for the cause of good. Hopefully this will either promote some more positive change within their organization or better yet, for those with good intentions and a drive to prove them to join the one faction that puts the needs of the people and golarion over the needs of any one nation and it's leaders.

In other news did any one else find it intriguing that Zarta claimed more loyalty to House Thrune then the devils of Cheliax?

Holy Lady Zadrian

I am new in the service of the Silver Crusade, but I can promise you that my brother and myself will be doing all in our power to thwart the evil plans of the Lissalans.

I have seen much depravity in the lands of Golarion and faced down some great evils. No doubt there will be more and I will face them with my sword and my shield and my love of Iomedae.

As for other factions. Their motives are not the same as ours, but many have simple ans true motives. I have not seen Andorans to be anything more than freedom loving folk. As for Chelaxians, well there nation is infested with devils and the evil that comes with them. One day their reckoning will come. Perhaps one day soon.

Nonetheless I will work with all other Pathfinders. If their ideology is different to mine then I will strive to be the better man.

Yours faithfully

May Iomedae guide you sword strong and true as she guides my bullet.

"As a paladin I tend to agree that the Law is a good thing. Order helps our development, our growth as a civilization. As a servant of Abadar, I know that our efforts as a group are lucrative to us all and to the Society. The Crusade is in the right direction, and something about these "Runelords" make me uneasy, and ready for some good fight (or smite).

But disagreement is part of life. We must learn to colaborate, putting our diferences aside for the greater good (without blindly following actions against our ethics, of course), even if some orders are indigest. For example, in a mission I had to protect GOBLINS! Filthy, disgusting, evil GOBLINS!

That was the only time my dwarven blood was against the Crusade. But I controlled myself. Barely.

Cheliax is a nation.

Andoran is a nation.

Let them be.

We fight for the Good. Not for politics."

HA! I remember that mission! We had to smuggle 4 of those little buggers across the border of Irrisen in the dead of winter after months spent trekking around in that bitter northern cold. That being said from what I remember it was the ferryman troll who was far worse then any of those little greenskins.
