Torchbearer Question

Was the Torch Handling Feat intended to stack with the Blazing Torchbearer (alchemist archetype) 2nd lvl ability Intense Light?

The Torch Handling feat increases the illumination of your torch by 10 feet, and Intense Light (Ex) does the same.

Just wondering if the developers intended for them to stack. Many thanks!

The fluff for Intense Light suggests that the Blazing Torchbearer is better than his peers at getting the most light out of a torch. Presumably, his peers are other Torchbearers. I see no reason why the two abilities would not stack.

Thanks for your input David. I was wondering if it was one of those things that because the archetype already gives the ability, the feat gets less effective, because it didn't stack. But having a torch with 40' radius is pretty awesome!

Just to put an official spin on it, yes, these two abilities were designed to stack with one another.
