It seems Pathfinder players can not decide whether you add the Int bonus to pellet grenades or not for Alchemists. I thought I might have seen somewhere where you add the Int bonus on splash weapons when thrown. Where is that located?
I thought that pellet grenades go off when you throw them. A friend said that they go off like a Fuse Grenade. I was thinking it was a variant weapon like the Fuse Grenade in that it is a splash weapon that uses a ten foot radius burst. I would like to know if my friend is right about Pellet Grenades going off 1d3 rounds later.
Thanks in advance

That ability for Alchemist is Throw Anything, and it's right in thier description.
Throw Anything (Ex): All alchemists gain the Throw Anything feat as a bonus feat at 1st level. An alchemist adds his Intelligence modifier to damage done with splash weapons, including the splash damage if any. This bonus damage is already included in the bomb class feature.
Pellet Grenades are effectively Fuse Grenades with different stuffing. Fuse Grenades however are not splash weapons. They have the line, "You throw a fuse grenade as if it were a splash weapon" which probably leads to some confusion. From the table the alchemical weapons that count as splash weapons are clearly labeled and Fuse Grenades (as well as Pellet Grenades) are listed as Area weapons, not Splash weapons. So your friend was correct.

One thing that makes me think they aren't necessarily splash weapons is that they don't do any splash; they just do AoE (in case your wondering the difference —or rather my difference— is, it's that splash is reduced damage). This is mirrored in the tags Morgen mentioned too I suppose.
That said, "thrown as if it were a splash weapon" is essentially the same as saying "... can be thrown as a splash weapon", to which all sorts of splash weapons say (alchemist's fire, acid, etc.)
Lastly, while on the topic of grenades, how similar do you think the pellet grenade would be to the fuse grenade? Namely, do you think it would have a fuse? I'd say most certainly not, since otherwise, what's the point of fuse grenades at all when they cost 50g extra? It's far too expensive to pay 50g for a fuse in my opinion.
