I know in the advanced race guide there was a generic centaur, but I want to know if anyone has played one or had one in their campaign. Also if you could post your version of the race. I am trying to make one to add to a Kingmaker campaign.
You talking about like a homebrew version of the centaur? I made one of those because I knew their RP was ludicrously high, so I made a lower RP version, complete with a full background writeup.
The race as I have it currently doesn't have any kind of skill bonus, by swapping a few things around (maybe axing the reach and natural armor bonuses or toying with their darkvision) or just adding a few more points.
15 RP, Centaur (Abominable)
Large (7RP) ( -1 size penalty to AC and attack rolls and a -4 size penalty on Stealth checks but gain a +1 size bonus to CMB and CMD +2 STR and -2 DEX)
Monstrous Humanoid (3RP, comes with Darkvision)
Quadruped (2RP, +4 to CMD and trip defense, triple carrying capacity from medium biped, counts as mounted, ride class skill becomes acrobatics, ride bonuses become acrobatics or swim, +10 base speed, weapons and armor treated as though creature was medium, counts as having mounted combat feat for getting other feats)
Base Speed 30 (+10 from Quadruped for a total of 40) (0RP)
Racial Scores: Standard (0RP) +2 DEX, +2 WIS, -2 CHA (Actual bonuses are therefore +2 STR, +2 WIS, -2 CHA)
Racial Traits: Natural Armor (2RP, +1 AC), Reach (1RP, Reach is 10 ft)
Languages: Sylvan and Common, those with high intelligence can learn Elven, Dwarven, Orc, Undercommon, Goblin, Abyssal, Gnome, and Celestial
Aging Characteristics: Same as Half-Elf.
Size: Base male = 6 feet roll 2d12 and 1600 pounds roll 5d100
Base female = 6 feet roll 2d10 and 1500 pounds roll 4d100
(Note: armor costs four times as much and weighs twice as much.)
Description:
Some centaurs are a natural race all to their own, while others, some amid the myriad planes which mimic Golarion have a drastically different origin. The result of either a union between a fey and a human, or necromantic and polymorphic experiments, these centaur are now a race in and of themselves, but the much more direct connection to the core races has marked them as a missing link of sorts.
Their altered ancestry from other centaur has resulted in a longer lifespan drawing from magical sources. Powerful and perceptive owing to their physique, centaur think little of how others might think of their bestial aspects and do nothing to cover for it, often seeming boorish. Reaching almost as tall as eight feet and weighing far more than bipeds, a centaur possesses the torso of a human, although those tracing their routes to the fey can appear more elven. Their size lets them tower over foes, and get in an attack from afar under ideal circumstance. The torso is attached to the body of a horse. A centaur’s skin tone and coat color regularly reflect those of their local human and equine counterparts.
Given their mixed ancestry, centaur can become exclusionary and quarrelsome even amongst themselves, giving other more unified races a low opinion of them. Despite differences centaur typically form nomadic herds headed by a female Khanum who keeps the group on the move through its territory, often times not returning to a location for a decade. Centaur who live in one place often take a great care to maximize the land, prizing its bounty in small villages and towns the same size as some herd clans. Centaur in larger settlements typically choose either human or elven cities to occupy a quarter or district.
Centaur are often dismissed by other races as uppity beasts with pretensions of civilization, although a great many elves and humans take the dual nature of centaurs differently, instead seeing them to hold the best of both civilization and nature. Orcs, goblins, evil humans and other races may look upon centaur a viable slaves due to their strength and size. Gnomes often get along with centaur who can handle gnomes fascinating over them, while dwarves regularly shun centaur, never regularly meeting them on above-ground plains where the centaur prefer to roam. On the centaur’s side they will usually judge each individual according to their own merits, though they typically prefer the quick-witted and strong to the frail and long-winded. Those who befriend a centaur will likely face guileless candor and little compunction about physical matters.
Centaur can be of any alignment, though their focus on their own small group often means taking a neutral outlook towards outsiders. They typically prefer gods of war, fertility, and freedom, along with a general reverence and respect for nature.
Regularly feeling the need to roam, or feeling the need to prove themselves, some centaur will set out to roam the world. Ironically such adventuring centaur, already living at the edge of the world in most places, venture to more civilized regions where they frequently come into conflict with more settled places, either working for freedom or against those who threaten the peace.

Nope, there is an official write up from the Advanced Race guide...I think.
I am always a bit muddled on these side things. I know that the advanced race guide included a 28 RP build as one of the example races as a 'look at what you can do!' kind of thing. Not entirely sure where that everything on that page was originally there though (some of it might be bestiary stuff that the website used to help flavor it up).
But apparently the race did get at least some form of support through race trait...OH....cool, one of those lets you use lances kind of like you were mounted... Makes sense, I suppose.
Anyway, I will admit that the example build was a bit troublesome (it was probably supposed to be over powered a bit to get people hyped). It gets...+4 STR, +2 DEX/CON/WIS. And it is large, but it lacks the undersized weapons trait that bestiary centaurs have.

The feat is lame, the lance should be a martial weapon for a centaur. Also as a large creature, it should be able to use its front hooves (at least) as weapons especially if it is a class trained with martial weapons.
Also in the Advanced Race Guide (ARG) there should be a substantial RP reduction to correspond with the Bestiary entry on using medium instead of large weapons.
It would be easy enough to simply take away the Advanced ability scores (total -12 from 28 RP) and maybe another -4 for the Undersized Weapons giving an RP of 12 which is reasonable for a regular classed character.
The ARG would have been an enormous book if they had given balanced attention to the multiple races.

I don't know where I read it, but someone said that you also should switch the Ride skill with the Acrobatics Skill. The feats that require the Ride skill and (some of) the Ride Bonuses and Penalties are also treated as Acrobatic feats, Bonuses and Penalties. And the centaur gets a penalty of -20 for the Climb skill.
