Rejuvenate Eidolon harming undead?

Rules Questions

Greetings,

Although I have some kind of answer for the topic's question, I'd like to hear from the fellow collegues: Can Rejuvenate Eidolon be used to harm an undead creature?

PRO: It's Conjuration (Healing)
CON: Targets EIDOLON

Thanks for answering.

Liberty's Edge

I would have to say, "No."
A spell (e. g. Cure Light Wounds) that can be used to heal any living creature can also harm undead. But Rejuvenate Eidolon can target only an eidolon. Since the spell cannot heal any other living creature, I must conclude that it cannot harm any undead creature.

So I thought. Just asked to see if there is controversy.

Thanks

Is it an undead eidolon? If it is (for some strange reason) I would say yes.

Any normal undead - no

Liberty's Edge

By laying your hand upon an eidolon, you cause its wounds to close and its form to solidify. This spell cures 1d10 points of damage +1 point per caster level (maximum +5).

VS

When laying your hand upon a living creature, you channel positive energy that cures 1d8 points of damage + 1 point per caster level (maximum +5). Since undead are powered by negative energy, this spell deals damage to them instead of curing their wounds. An undead creature can apply spell resistance, and can attempt a Will save to take half damage.

I think it will cure even an undead eidolon.
This way of curing has nothing to do with positive/negative energy.
