Am I wrong, or does one of the Pathfinder hardcovers have rules to cover situations where a small group of PCs have to deal with a mob of angry and low-level NPCs or monsters? I could swear I remember seeing it somewhere.

The Mob rules are in The DMG II or Cityscape by Wizards I haven't seen any pathfinder mob templates.
Last I recall was the Shackled City AP.
Our GM put us up against mobs in the first book of CotCT, but I don't recall any special rules.
