The reason I ask is that one of the bigger game book distributors (Alliance) has none of it left in stock, and hasn't for a very long while. I checked with two separate game stores in the general area. Perhaps it is the fault with the distributor itself.
I do not know how Paizo's printing system works for its hardbound books, or how Paizo provides its books to distributors. I am seriously curious as to when the Inner Sea World Guide will be printed again for distributors to carry.

I used to work in gaming distribution. It could be a lot of things
1. They are waiting until they get a certain number of requests before they reorder. Distribution works on extremely thin margins and I imagine they've bitten thinner between amazon direct sales. I actually remember when you had to have a tax ID and jump through a ton of hoops to order.
2. There reps could just be lying to them for any number of reasons. It happens a lot in the biz.
3 there might be a lot of them and it either isn't in there system or its misentered. Most of the guys in Alliance warehouses aren't gamers and wouldn't know the ISWG from a text book they're just pulling from a number. It also happens lot.
True story I had a store call me to make sure the marvel RPG game was still in print because there Rep at a distributor could only find the old game because the new game had a strange Isbn number that the system didn't pick up. My computer said the same thing that we didn't have any but unlike the bigger distributors I could just walk out to the warehouse and look. It wasn't out of.print and.we had plenty. Once I knew the new number I could find it. We actually had to alter its Isbn sin the system to have the search function find it.
