The International War Crimes Sealed Cases Act was repealled. That is why we now know Patton got charged with Cruelty to his soldiers.
I am not talking Government Office. I am talking Government Combatant Positions. That is Police, State Patrols, State Investigation Bureaus, the Federal Investigation Bureau, and any of the 5 Branches of the Military. The Cultural Defense Act states that any member of a culture that is considered under protection of the ICPI may not take on any government funded job that poses a major threat to their well-being.
Don't worry. It won't stop here.
It never seems to, does it.

Funny last I checked I am not the one being rude here?
No. You're not being rude.
But you're talking nonsense.
The laws and institutions you're talking about don't exist. Or to put it more politely, no one else can find any trace of them and you haven't provided any evidence.
And this particular example fits a pattern you've shown before.

Or maybe I tend to be to busy to go searching for every little detail to satisfy someone's curiosity when they can't go digging deep enough.
Obscure laws are called that for a reason. Why would I want to stay in America letting my abilities go to waste when I could be using them elsewhere. Heck, I have the chance for a loop-hole in the Law if I can get an Organization I am a part of to sign off on it.

But not too busy to bring them up in the first place. Or to dribble out post after post trying to justify the story.

Azaelas, nobody is being rude. But you have to understand that most of us simply know better than to believe the yarn you're spinning, for a number of reasons.
My favorite statement was that you can't remember the name of pancratium, because you studied so many styles at the same time, although a close second would forgetting how old you were. Believe it or not I actually was a (semi)pro fighter. Yup, studied Muay Thai, Savate, Pancratium, as well as (Greco-Roman) wrestling. Funny... I can remember the names of all of them, despite getting hit in the head so many times I can still see cartoon birds from time to time.
| Azaelas Fayth |
Yeah... Considering I am posting from a phone when there is a lull in what I am doing... Or that don't care about my birthday, or care about what the name of the Karate Style I learned was. I never said I learned Pancratium I stated Why the Government has banned certain schools of Martial Arts from being allowed to be known by Soldiers.
EDIT: Pancratium is the modern name for the Non-Lethal version of Pankration. Before it was just known by the same name.

The whole premise is simply not true. You should have stopped with the action story you told to start with, at least it could have been based on fact.

As a Medal of Honor awardee for actions in Afghanistan, I would have used my expert combat skills to fold the offending miscreant up like a pretzel and have him begging forgiveness from the table.
No you cannot see my orders appointing the medal, it was a G-14 classified operation whose details cannot be disclosed at this time. It was awarded during a secret visit by the president to a forward operating base that no longer exists.

I never said I was an expert trained bodyguard. I said I was trained in being a Bodyguard. I wasn't told anything other than I wasn't able to serve do to those laws.
I found a loophole. If the organization I am a part of is willing to aid me then I can get a Waiver to by-pass the laws. Otherwise I have to swear off my Culture and Religion for a chance at a Waiver for the Training I received. And that is harder to obtain than finding a nickel in a billy goat's butt.

The International Cultural Protection Initiative is similar to Amnesty International. It is private but is supported by the UN. The Cultural Protection Act is the common name for a U.S. Act that lists specific Cultures that are under the provisions of the act which states that members of those cultures can't serve in specific Government Funded Jobs.
Most States allow a State given by-pass to the Act. A Few do not.
The organization is known as the "Crusaders" or "Templar" here in Missouri. We help foster Religious and Cultural Equality in local communities. One reason why we are called that in Missouri is because we only have a small faction of the Crusaders and Templar National Gangs. It started off as an insult to us by some religious groups here. Look for Missouri vs. Reverend Barns for one of the cases against one such religious group.

International Culture Protection Initiative.
Look closely to what I said. Even if the training didn't cause it the law would come into effect.
Ironically, the law is only heavily enforced in Missouri, Texas, and DC. Most other places ignore it.
Either way this is off the original topic.
Unfortunately for you, we're in the same city. I practice in Springfield Mo. My office is just south of the square on South street, so no go there. These things you are saying don't exist.

There is also no case of State of Missouri v. Barns. There is also no case in Missouri which even mentions "Templar."
P.S. @ Moorlock, You're right this is fun. Where did you fight? I've trained in martial arts on and off since I was 11. I'm taking Brazilian Ju Jitsu now, and at 40 I look back and wish I'd tried fighting semi-pro or pro. Alas. I'm too old now.

Nope. We are just the Springfield Branch. No Website or major presence unless something major comes up.
@MeanDM: Umm... What which firm... Cause most of the Firms in that general area no respectable person would go to.
Major as in a gathering to help someone wrongfully barred from military service for practicing a Geneva Convention prohibited Spartan fighting style?
Are they going at least get a FB page before they tackle the U.N.?

Local in SC, started with a few "tough man" contest. I did alright, but after 4 years and no break I, read my fiancé, decided it was time to hang up the gloves.
I enjoyed it, but a decade plus later... my body is explaining why getting kicked in the head is a baaaaaad idea. :/

Really? You think so? Interesting. I work for myself. I'm in an office sharing arrangement with two other attorneys. One of which is one of the top criminal defense attorneys in the area. That's aside from the fact that a lot of attorneys are in that area because as you know the courthouse is right up Boonville from the square. There are more attorneys in that area then there are in any other part of Springfield. Including the local offices of some of the top civil firms in the country like Lathrop and Gage and Blackwell Sanders.

Yeah, the difference between those of us who train and the ones like you that have the guts to actually get in the ring is pretty big. I respect that. :)

Yes, but none of them have ever represented The Templars.

Thanks, but if given the choice between guts, or the brains to have gone to college and done something constructive.... I'm not sure I would have gone the path I did. ;)

Guys, did you here?
I'm being denied reeinlistment because they found out about my Krav Maga training. God, I hope they dont find my Chuck Norris and the Karate Commandos Blu Rays.....
You think that's bad, I got denied because they found out I beat Street Fighter 2 Turbo on one quarter.

Which is not to imply that there is a lack of guts in the college/professional route. Just more brains than I had/have.
I think as far as guts go, it takes more to get in the ring than go to college. Where I train now, they train semi and pro fighters. You can see a whole different mindset with them. Michael Johnson from Ultimate Fighter: GSP vs Kostcheck (sp) trains there. So did a guy from the season that's on now (Zak Cummings) although he currently trains out of Kansas City. I'm not sure i would've had the right mindset even 15 years ago.
Edit: added Zak's name. I couldn't think of it while typing.

Interesting story.
Even more interesting is the Parallel Universe you must come from that bars one from military service because of martial (military) arts proficiency; where there are no military personnel deadly-skilled in the hundreds of forms of martial arts; where every branch of the military doesn't have multiple official martial arts demonstration teams; and, least I forget, where 20 year-old First World civilians have more combat experience than a career US Marine.
I want to read more about this place and the flying pink unicorns that shit rainbows and vomit skittles and which must roam its pleasantly policed and beautifully maintained streets.
