NAZIS!
Sorry, but I thought this whole thing had gotten long enough that Godwin's Law had to apply somewhere. Was that too soon or should I have waited a few more posts? Kinda new at this sorta thing...

Hi Solnes! Your husband and I've been having fun. If we're ever in the same town I'll buy you two beers! Or ice cream. If you'll let him come out and play. I have the best GI Joes.

Edit: changed fiancé to husband.

Actually we've now been married for 12 years. But if we ever find ourselves in Springfeild, or you in Myrtle Beach, SC, I will take you up on that offer. ;)

Hmm, based on my expert psychological expertise I find this patient to be a pathological liar. Obviously, my findings are true because I have provided a link to wikipedia.

We'll see if she can get me one when she gets off work. She has another hour to go, she manages a couples store and is there until midnight on Friday.

And thanks, best 12 years of my life. :D

My favourite was when he said that he was the head of both his Scottish and Viking clans, and that he had access to secret anthropological research that supported his erroneous views about Celts.

Yup.

Oh, I have to see this. I may have to call up the shade of my ancestor so that he can drag a few severed heads back down to his mound.

Sorry, I was just making up the bit about making a list. But I can continue spinning out all sorts of weird crap to try to cover up my little white lie for another 200 posts if you like..?

Cool. Since you're looking at hard copies right now, what's the statute code? It'll be right there at the top. It'll have a smaller number, followed by USC, then the symbol for section, then another number. For example, pulling a random book off my shelf at the home office I got foreign relations. 22 USC 2225 is the Integration of Women Act which states the president is requested to instruct US representatives in international organizations to encourage the integration of women into policy making positions.

I find it ironic that he's in the "Show Me" state right now.

I can just see these four recruiting sargents/petty officers/what have you, with a little monkey dressed like a Drill Sargent in a cage for some reason, in the only recruiting station, or building for that matter, for 100 miles of cornfield in any direction, just scratching their heads and saying, "whatever you do, don't give that wiseass those statute codes. Don't play his game. He's not just insulting you, but all of the Grand State of Missourah!!! And gosh darned it, that's against the forum rules!!!!! Now quit f%@~ing around on the internet and go peel potatoes; because there's got to be some damn reason we're all here at a recruiting station on the Good Friday night before Easter, and peeling potatoes is as good a reason as any!!!!!
If there's something I hate more than a Basic Training washout, it's one of those malingering Human Weapon types who are too damn dangerous to be accepted for military service. I hate them more than sta brite insignia!"

Oh dear. Guess I'll have to keep this 2011 bottle of Les Remparts des Ceps Dorés (Touraine Sauvignon) and drink it myself. Yay! ;)

Yep. Smart choice. And good luck with it.

I'm lucky to have the advantage of disliking most alcohol and living in a country where it's ridiculously expensive to buy the stuff (that wine-bottle: 58 SKR [about $9] for 375 ml - don't get me started on whisky-prices).

375 ml-- that's about 12 oz, right? If so, jeez...

12.6803 oz to be precise.

You can......verify it on google, if you don't believe me.

I just learned something new. I knew Great Britain obstanied from the Euro, but I didn't know that Sweden had not yet adopted it and was still using the krona (it is the krona, right?) Cool.

I'm a little amazed that Mr. Reynolds has currency named after him... and how much does 58 SKR weigh?

And somehow, the pro-Eurozone people have been rather quiet the past two-three years...

Depends on how much of it is made up of coins, obviously. :p

I was thinking of proclaiming my independence from Canada, and applying for membership to the eurozone so I could get a bail-out too. It seems to to be the latest fashion...

Uh oh, AF's gone quiet... perhaps he's been Redacted by the secret lawyering fighting military cabal? Julian Assange asks us all to pause for moment in remembrance and reverence for your truth-disclosingness. We will not forget you, Azaelas/JTM93 the Truth Warrior.

He's still spouting legal-babble nonsense over on the thread about women tropes in gaming. >.<

Liberty's Edge

He sounds just like a gamer I used to have (I am in missouri and thought they might've been the same guy for a bit, especially considering the name JTM93)...

Adria Richards is issuing a Recant and Apology do to violating 3 Laws. All of which deal with comments made in a Public Area. As instead of submitting a formal complaint to the Pycon Organizing Committee she Tweeted the picture.

@Studpuffin: If you are one of the few GMs I don't have continuing dealings with then that means you are either a GM that enjoys insulting his player's in crude fashions, loves forcing his PCs to do acts that are wrong for anyone to do, a GM who always throws in houserules as long as they favour a small number of his players, or a GM that throws a Hissy Fit whenever someone corrects them on something small, such as a recurring NPCs Name.

Liberty's Edge

Yep, you're definitely "that guy". Not the same one, necessarily, but that kind. :)

Oh really? What kind is that?

Or you have never met him. Y'know because it's unlikely you've met every GM in the state.

The Exchange

So did you ever get that info that MeanDM asked for? Since you have the hard copies and all it should be easy for you to look that up real quick.

Scarab Sages

Hopefully this will get closed before dealing out ugliness in various directions gets out of hand.

I had the hardcopies.

@feytharn: I am being civil. I am waiting for the thread to get on-topic.

I am not accusing anyone - just seeing the general direction.

Really I prefer other forums. Such as the Black Dragon Games Forum.
