Wondering what you all think of being able to do this
spend 1 or 2 ki, turning your next flurry of blows attack into a standard action rather then a full action.
obviously i dislike always having to commit a full round action to do my full damage, I think this would give the monk some more flexibility without overpowering them

I'd probably set it to 1 point but make it a pounce rather than a standard. This means that you have the potential to flurry with movement but that if you want to do so in terrain you'll be investing in supporting feats. This provides limitations to the power to prevent it from feeling overpowered while keeping it cheap enough that it won't be odd to see and since it's limited by ki points it wouldn't be unreasonable for the monk to get it pre 9 unlike the barbarian.

this could make sense. i dislike the idea of making it cost a lot since ki points are needed for a lot of things. and this would mesh well with the idea for mobility and give monks a clearer direction
