Resident Evil Code Veronica (PS2 version)

Video Games

I have played this game a zillion times, and I just gotta know something:

1 What the HECK is the 3 BOW gas grenade rounds for?! I know the acid rounds wipe out those giant spiders well, and the standard grenade shots wipe out the stretchy arm monsters in one shot if done at point blank already.

Since this post will likely be up for a long time with no answer, please send me a private message if you know the answer.

2 Also, I have Resident Evil Outbreak File 2, and I can't for the life of me figure this game's play out, if only because the frickin manual is missing.

3 Was there ever a sequel to Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance II for the PS2?

Shadow Lodge

I've played CVX a million times, and I've never really noticed anything special about the BOW gas grenades. They're pretty meh, to be honest.

But what do they do? Is there an enemy that they are good against? Same goes for the flame rounds.

B.O.W. and flame rounds were meant for the fight with the Tyrant, if I recall correctly. Been awhile since I played the game.

Shadow Lodge

I usually saved up the explosive arrows and the bow gun for the Tyrant

Sovereign Court

According to the strategy guide, BOW rounds release a cloud of green gas that stuns, but not kills, weaker enemies causing them to drop to the ground so you can run past them.

The Tyrant, as in the big slow guy? When you encounter him outside the burning building, normally I just use plain old grenade rounds, at very close range so I can damage the heck out of him. Are you saying the flame rounds work better?

In the airplane, I usually just rapid fire explosive arrows (30 of them) into him, and then hit the switch, without having moved from the entrance.

Off the top of my head, I can't recall if there are more encounters with Tyrant than the ones I just mentioned.

Really? So which enemies are considered weak enough for this gas to work?
