Channel energy question

I have tried to find if this was covered already to no avail. I had a question about channeling energy for commanding undead. The holy vindicator class says it stacks with cleric levels for channeling. Here is the exact wording: "The vindicator’s class level stacks
with levels in any other class that grants the channel
energy ability."

Does this mean that a 7 Cleric/ 4 Holy Vindicator can command undead as well as a 11 Cleric? Would the DC increase? The amount of d6 heal/dmg increase?
