Hey all, so I'm starting a new game as a Fighter. Looked through the first page o' search results with the key words "Hurl Shield" and didn't find anything. My question is this: What exactly is the benefit of the Hurl Shield use of Equipment Trick: Shield? I've read it, and have asked several others their opinion and everyone I've talked to has replied the same; it doesn't seem to have any use. As I understand it, any object can be used as an improvised thrown weapon (French Fries to Wagon Wheels, s'long as the DM can agree to it, etc. etc.), with a -4 non-proficiency penalty and a range increment of 10'. I've looked at several sites and haven't found any insights or revisions to the feat so it looks like it's still the most up-to-date ruling for it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
