Ok, I'm not quite understanding how spell penetration works. I tried using Unnatural Lust against a wizard(i think?) with spell resistance, and it didn't work. Did it get a bonus on the save? I didn't get to ask as we were running out of time and kept moving quickly.
Also, if I have Spell Penetration, can my Unnatural Lust penetrate her resistance?

Any spell with 'Spell Resistance: Yes' in its description is subject to spell resistance. Unnatural Lust is one such spell, as are many enchantment spells that bards use. Spell resistance requires a caster level check (1d20+caster level) to overcome. Unlike many such checks, your casting stat bonus (charisma in your case) is not added to the roll. If you are an elf, you get a +2 to this roll. If you have the Spell Penetration feat, you get an additional +2 to the roll. If you use an item called Dweomer's Essence, found in the Pathfinder Society Field Guide, you get a +5. It's a one-time use item that costs 500gp and you can't craft it in PFS so use it sparingly, only for the BBEGs I would say.
When you fail your spell resistance roll, the spell fizzles insofar as it affects that particular being with spell resistance. (Spells with multiple targets may affect some creatures but not others.) If you make it through the spell resistance, the target may still make a saving throw if one is allowed.
