Here is a Ring gun.
I saw this pic and instantly it thought gunslingers and steampunk and magical item.
Any ideas what kind of stats it might have? Any ideas?
Cute, but very low damage. In D&D world where enemies are fully functional with inly 1hp you'd need sneak attack to make this useful.
I was thinking it would at least do a d2 or d4.
Low range too I'd say. But maybe allow it to be used in a grapple.
Other flavorful ways to make it useful:
-A +10 of sleight of hand to conceal it makes useful in situations where character normally have their weapons taken away (such as a fancy gala where a devil is hiding).
-No damage and small range, but a high crit range/crit damage, because you could press it up real close to someone and get at a vital spot in-between pieces of armor.
-Doesn't require a hand to wield, can be fired with the thumb while the hand carries another object.
