the existence of epic weapons and divine bond

Rules Questions

in pathfinder, the existence of epic anything is questionable, since for the most part the rules tell you to look at older models to determine what to do when things go epic, but they purposely dont say that epic things dont exist

in that manner, one could argue the existence of epic weapons in pathfinder

question is, could a paladin using divine bond (or any other class using a similar mechanic like the magus) exceed the normal +10 limit and make their weapon epic using that rule set?

another, simpler issue is what if i have a +10 sword, with only +1 bonus and +9 in enchantments, what happens when someone casts GMW on it?

As it's been answered a jillion times for this and other simmilar abilities.. the answer is NO. Because the normal limits for enchantment are not bypassed by this and other similar abilities.

ok, well the only thing i could find on it was SKR saying "if you wanna play like that you can" which didnt really answer anything

Well, last I checked you can't have a weapon with 1 "+" and 9 special properties. You could have a +1 weapon with 5 special properties but the max a weapon can have of either +es or properties is 5.

And according to the current rules the hard top of the magic weapon system is +5 with +5 worth of special abilities. Casting GMW on such a weapon wouldn't do anything.

These rules may change when the Mythic book comes out later this year.

I believe SKR's comment is directed to creating houserules to better reflect the game you want to play.

By my understanding it won't. Mythic rules are implementing Mythic DR, but Mythic DR is not 'Epic'.
