Quick Magus Optimization

Advice

Hi, I'm helping a friend optimize his new Magus for Skull and Shackles. the rules are no dump stats, 20 point build. The DM is known for punishing low Charisma, so he wants at least a 12 in it.

Here is what I came up with just tweaking his original.

Dual Talent human alt. racial trait INT & DEX

Str 10
Dex 16 (level 8,12,16,20 stat bump here)
Con 13 (level 4 stat bump here)
Int 18
Wis 10
Cha 12

Traits: Magical lineage (shocking grasp), unhappy childhood +2 Concentration

feats and arcana

1. Weapon finesse (Rapier)
3. Weapon focus
3. Arcane Accuracy
5. Extra Arcane pool
5. Craft Magic Arms and Armor
6. Close range arcana
7. Intensify spell
9. Piranha Strike
9. Ghost Blade
11. Weapon specialization
11. Extra Arcane Pool

So any thoughts or recommendations? what should 12 - 20 look like?

Thanks.

That looks very nice. One thing I would think about thou is going elf. For what I feal is a good trade off you take a -2 con for the flowing bounes
Elven Immunities
Keen Senses
Elven Magic
Low-Light Vision
Arcane Focus (instead of Weapon Familiarity) for a +2 concentration casting defensively

Also if you gm alows it I like Animate Weapon with a second sword (says weapen you touch not are useing)and Song of the Blade Dance as a battle bost.

Is there a reason you're not going for Dervish Dance? That's generally much better than just finessing a rapier.

Also, Weapon Finesse applies to all weapons it can potentially apply to now. You don't need to pick just one.

After build a rogue/magus, i have been finding ways to go ard not provoking AOO while casting(w/o making casting defensively checks). I found dropping darkness at lower lvl then dropping deeper darkness at higher lvls is pretty awesome. but i will need to burn 2 feats to make it work, tkaing fiendish sight twice.
