I haven't been able to find anything addressing images and gaze attacks. Wondering what others have done in the past.
Would the spell still work as any of the images can be used for the gaze? They are all exact copies.
Would it have a % chance based on the number of images?
They automatically get the 50% for averting eyes? Plus a second if they actively are doing so.

Please spell out your scenario in more detail.
Do you mean a creature with a gaze attack casts mirror image on itself, and is then subject to a "lock gaze" spell cast by someone else ?
Or do you mean a creature with mirror image up is subjected to a gaze attack by another creature who also uses "lock gaze" ?

Mirror Image does not protect you against gaze attacks, it's your perception that dooms you, not anything either physical or magical that's being hurled against your body.
The victim of a gaze attack is essentially looking at the gaze himself, it's not a ray or effect that's being targeted like a flash light.
Basic rule of thumb, is that if it's not an effect that targets your AC, Mirror Image is not a relevant factor in it's resolution.

I'd say there is no difference. Either the person is not adverting his gaze and thus is assumed to be looking at all the images on the battle field or the person is averting his gaze from all the images on the battle field (thus all the images have concealment from the attacker).
If anything, I'd allow the gaze victim a wisdom check to identify which mirror image actually hit him with the attack (assuming he survives) and let that help the person target the real image.
But that's just my judgement (on both accounts).
