ok simple question in the description it states that wall of force and yes i know it is shield shaped but does the wall of force act as the spell wall of force but it being smaller and have the abilities of that spell,DESCRIPTION
Breath weapons and spells cannot pass through a wall of force in either direction, although dimension door, teleport, and similar effects can bypass the barrier. It blocks ethereal creatures as well as material ones (though ethereal creatures can usually circumvent the wall by going around it, through material floors and ceilings). Gaze attacks can operate through a wall of force.
The caster can form the wall into a flat, vertical plane whose area is up to one 10-foot square per level. The wall must be continuous and unbroken when formed. If its surface is broken by any object or creature, the spell fails. But the fact that it is shield shaped it would only be in front of me?

What aspects of the spell would be relevant to the ring's functioning, if the force shield shared them?
Breath weapons: don't interact with shields in any interesting way (except in edge cases such as rolling a 1 on your save against a spell, and your items potentially being affected; for this, I would rule that the force shield acts like a wall of force).
Spells: don't generally interact with shields in any interesting way (although if someone targeted your shield with a spell effect, such as shatter, it would presumably either work differently or not work at all; for this, I would rule that the force shield acts like a wall of force).
Teleportation: doesn't interact with shields in any interesting way.
Ethereal creatures: don't interact with shields in any interesting way (although incorporeal ones do; the force shield's AC bonus would count toward your AC vs. incorporeal touch attacks).
Gaze attacks: don't interact with shields in any interesting way.
The bit about a wall of force's shape: irrelevant because the force shield's shape is fixed.
