PFS Question about crossblooded Sorcerer abilities and how they work.

What would be the best combo for a Dragon Blooded and Elemental Blooded Cross Blood Sorcerer?

I have been looking for 3 days through the Forums and have nothing to show for it. I thought I had read something about the Elemental Arcana changing the spells energy from x to y. So a Air Elemental would cast Fireball as a Lightning ball. Now does the spell descriptor change. Is it still a Fire spell dealing lightning damage? Or is it now a Lightning spell instead of fire. Need to know so that I pick the right combo to change all spells to my Dragon element to get +1 to damage per die rolled.

Also what combo would anyone suggest? I personally would like to go with a Black Dragon/Earth Elemental Blood. Helping my Nephew out and I think he is going Gold or Blue Dragon. So Either Fire or Air for him. Unless the Spell does not change its descriptor type. Somewhere I read that it does not. Anyone?

Your assumptions are correct. If an Elemental Earth Sorcerer casts Fireball, when the spell is cast, he can choose to cast it as an acid spell instead of fire. The spell is now an acid spell, so things like acid resistance will affect it.

If the Earth Elemental sorcerer is also crossblooded with the Green Graconic bloodline (acid), he also gains the +1 damage per die.

Keep in mind that the penalties for being a crossblooded sorcerer are pretty stiff. Gaining 1 less known spell per level is tough. This means that the sorcerer will not have access to 2nd level spells until 5th level. And then there is the -2 on Will Saves.

Elemental Bloodline

Bloodline Arcana: Whenever you cast a spell that deals energy damage, you can change the type of damage to match the type of your bloodline. This also changes the spell's type to match the type of your bloodline.

Jacob, It does. I just read somewhere that by RAW(which I do not even know what that means, the spell stayed the same. But for Flavor, I am preferring that it change.

Reddog, I am familiar with the will penalty, as well as the spell known reduction. I am going Dragon Disciple, and feel that I will be more of a Melee anyway in the end. Plus, not knowing a spell does not mean I can not use the slots to cast a meta magic spell in those slots.

james maissen, Good to hear from you. Been a long time. To answer your post, for one, I am doing Dragon Disciple, along with Eldritch Heritage, and have a pretty well planned out build. 2, I can not find where Orc Blooded Sorcerer is. I must not have the source. And 3, I do not know what Seeker or Razimiran priest is or where to find that source either. I think what people tend to forget here is that when people suggest things, they need to list what source it comes from, as newbie in Pathfinder, I have no clue. I have been spending much to much time reading posts and getting no where to so many of my questions. Wish I had someone to call who could ummm, walk me through some of this.

Other than that how has life been? I got my Nephew playing(he is 8) and my Daughter is playing now(she is 7). You remember Rhett my son(15) and he is involved. Rebecca is starting as well, but has not much time as she is doing her masters online.
