Just to be clear...

Temporary hit points from different sources stack, is this correct?

This is correct. If someone casts Aid on you and then you get more from hitting someone with a Vampiric Touch they would stack.

If you had two Aid spells cast on you, you'd get the better of the two.

Thanks for the info. So now my UMD fighter should start buying Aid and False life scrolls.
