I'm about to start running the retirement arc, and since the first part is Requiem for the Red Raven, I thought it would be cool to run Flight of the Red Raven first. Unfortunately since it is 3.5, it isn't approved for PFS. There's no direct tie, but I thought it would be nice to get it approved, maybe with a note re: 3.5 creatures.

When your PFS party is about 3rd or 4th level, there's nothing stopping you from inviting them (or, perhaps more precisely, clones of them) on a side trek to play through "Flight of the Red Raven". Paizo still sells it, and it'sstill fun. You're right, there's no Chronicle attached to it, but the players get to learn something cool about Golarion, and get to spend more time playing their characters.

Good Luck Majuba ... Im just finishing the Arc ... its nasty
my advice is unless your players are Ultra beastly ... dont run it with less than 6
At this point in their careers, most of them should be able to afford to pay for at least one raise dead/resurrection... the retirement arc should be memorable- and deadly... it's a capstone in their Pathfinder careers.
You never know how resourceful your players may be, as well... it's too easy after reading a combat's stat blocks to think "omg, they won't survive", but try to trust in their abilities and run as written. :-)
