Check out the Bay Area Pathfinder Society page which can point you to all the PFS locations in the area (San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, etc.)
Apart from PFS, our group runs adventure paths on Sunday mornings (11:00 - 2:00) at Illusive Comics & Games in Santa Clara. We alternate between Rise of the Runelords one week, and Jade Regent the next week. We play two tables of each, so it should be possible to find room for another player or two. Stop by if you are interested. Next week is Runelords - if you want to create your own character it's a 15-point buy, and you could start at 2nd level. No summoners; anything beyond CRB/APG needs GM approval.

Hey. If people here are still looking for a game, I'd love to join in on one. I have a lot of materials I can let the group use. Minis (more coming from Reaper Kickstarter soon-ish), flip-mats, pens, and lots of PDF files on my laptop that can be used for reference in-game. And I have all the APs if somebody wants to run. I've read a few, but I'm pretty good about not metagaming. There are also plenty that I haven't read. I currently run a Kingmaker campaign on Monday nights, so I'd be interested in joining a new campaign as a player if possible. I'm in Oakland, but I can drive to SF or SJ if there's a preferred place for gaming.

Same boat here, been looking for a group to be a player but my schedule isn't great for gaming (I get out of work at 7 --and if the game were to be outside SF, I don't have a car, so you can imagine at what hour I'd be arriving...)
If there's anything within SF, I hope my schedule doesn't intrude that much!

Just wanted to chime in as well for either joining or helping form a group within SF proper to play during the weekends. Currently courting a gamestore to host the group on Saturdays, afternoons or evenings, if we can't find a venue. Anyone care to collaborate and team up?

Hey guys! I host a game in Noe Valley, SF and we're looking for an additional member. PM me with your questions and requirements (if any) and I'll hit you back with some questions from my group. We play almost every Sunday (try for 3 out of 4 sundays per month)which generally runs from 12 to 6, sometimes a bit longer.
We're presently running two alternating campaigns, one being Serpent's Skull (in the middle of chapter 2) as well as a secondary campaign which encompasses the "test of the starstone"

Hi there,
We are starting a brand new group with 100% fresh faces to play every other week, normally on weeknights but occasionally on a weekend night perhaps. Looks like most are 30s or mid 40s, veterans, by the book pathfinder rules playing around the southern Penninsula, Palo Alto and Sunnyvale.
We are starting the first session this Thursday in Palo Alto
