The Brothers Wu

So Little Man and I just genned new alts: Tonealial (“my friends call me Tone”) Wu, a Sczarni Aasimar Bard for me and Onisan Wu, a Lantern Lodge Tiefling Ninja for him. They are going to be half brothers; turns out our mom, a retired adventurer, made some... interesting... life choices along the way. A friend expressed interest in joining “the brotherhood” and thus was born Brother Ji Kwan Wu, Nagaji Monk.

I thought it would be fun to offer it up to the Society as a whole.

The requirements to join the Brothers Wu (yes, you can be a Sister Wu too) are simple and twofold:

1) Have the last name Wu.

2) You must be at least half Human (Tien) on your mom’s side.

Please post on this thread if you create a PFS Brothers Wu character so we can keep a geneaology.

Well we need to get a half-orc and half-elf in on this. If anyone has elemental or dhampir boons, those are also possibilities.

Just how many siblings do you think there are in the Wu family?

That sounds fun. I would do if it I had locals do it with me.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Now I'm all confused.

Tricky question...

Turns out mom was granted a boon by Shelyn for services rendered, and every time she gives birth she is projected back in time a year and a half. For those of you concerned about paradox and/or child neglect, rest assured there is a temple on a remote mountainside in Tien where a myriad of Okasan Wu-s take turns tending to their prolific offspring.

So does that mean ya'll are related to the Sisters Wu from

How'd a Nagaji get into the Wu?!

And do you ask people their specifics by saying...

Who are wu?

Hmmm I have a tiefling from Tien who's father is a bearded devil, and who's mother hasn't been defined yet...

Good luck with it.

Here in the UK we have the Hachito family.

Two Tengus with an adopted son.

Not sure they take new entries as they are of Tengu nobility (still from the time when boons were necessary).

It's fun to GM for them if they come together at a convention.

Dark Archive

It's a shame that you don't have any way to form some sort of "Tang Clan".

There was a guy I played with back in Missouri who had a Taldan character (a magus, I think) called "Pierre Saint Jacque, of the Brothers Saint Jacque *clap, clap*" Seriously, whenever he said his name (and he always used his full name), everyone at the table would clap twice. I think there was another character in the area who also hailed from the Brothers Saint Jacque, but I never met him.

The utterly terrifying Clan Hachito I might add :-)

(Really should recruit more for Mofolino's Travelling Circus*)

That is ABSOLUTELY what I envisioned, and not just newb luck kicking in. (Bluff 23)

I woke up in a Korvosa doorway, the Grey Maiden knew my name. /She said, "you could get back to the Shingles, if you can get up and walk away."/ I stretched back and I hiccuped and checked to see if I had the plague./ Ended up fighting Rakshashas before the end of that bloody day... WELL WHO ARE WU?

<blink> I didn't think Nagaji were cross-breeds? (maybe way, way, way back in the day). I thought they were their own intra-sustainable race.

Ahhh... but you forget our mom, Okasan Wu, is a time traveller. There is very little that can't be answered with a healthy dollop of Bill and Ted.

chuckle... fair enough

Awaiting the animal archive to show up in additional resources, but count me in with Ayako Wu, Aasimar "Mad Dog" barbarian and Lao Jiu, panda.
