Ok, so I just got a shiny new invisibility spell from leveling up in a campaign and tried using Entangle on a bunch of enemies while under invisibility. DM said it broke the invisibility, I looked the spell over and I understood why and we went on our way.
This leads me to a question that a short search couldn't satisfy for me.
If I were to use grease underneath an enemy or on an enemies weapon and I were under invisibility, would that break invisibility? I'm assuming yes, and that casting grease on the floor in front of them and not under wouldn't break grease, but I want to make sure.
I also had the same question about summon monsters. If under invisibility wouldn't an attacking summoned monster break your invisibility since it's still a spell and directly attacking your enemy? I've read no to this. Is that because you're summoning the spell and it's attacking after the fact? I guess I'm just a bit hazy here.
Lastly, what's the best spells to use while under invisibility to keep invisibility? I would think illusion spells such as ghost sound and silent image would be good. Anything else?
Thanks in advance.

If you use grease on the ground, you don't break invisibility.
If you use grease on the attended weapon, you would break invisibility. The target got got a saving throw, so it's a direct "attack" despite it not doing damage (it's basically attempting a disarm).
A summoned creature can attack without its summoner breaking invisibility.

Clarify If you use grease on the ground not under someones feet it does not break invisibility. if it under someones feet there are in the area of the spell and take a reflex save it's an attack.
This is correct... If you cast any spell that requires an immediate saving throw, does damage, ect then it breaks your invisibility.
Summon Creatures to attack do not break your invisibility, but smart enemies will figure out where you are by spellcasting,ect.. and invisibility does not prevent sound,ect..
FYI... What class is the OP playing? Entangle Spell is a Druid and Ranger spell only, unless I"m guessing it can be a Cleric Domain Spell?
