Stacking Magus Archetypes

Rules Questions

This one confuses me, skirnir changes so much, hexcrafter changes so little. Can you have a hexcrafter skirnir? The answer appears to be yes.

They both alter/replace Spell Recall, so no, those two particular archetypes do not stack. Looks like a Staff Magus could stack with Skirnir and Bladebound can stack with quite a few of the others (but not skirnir).

As long as the same class feature/ability is not replaced or altered by both archetypes they can stack.

ah I was looking at magus arcana and not hex magus above... dang I phone and it's small screen

Try this website: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/magus#TOC-Table-Magus-Archetyp es-Alternate-Class-Features

The table shows the class features replaced by each archetype. It is an easy way to see if two archetypes overlap or not.
