Silver Crusade 1/5

I have a question for the board. At the end of the Dasline Affair why did the Society not do a Raise dead or resurrection on Baron Jacquo?
Did he lack enough fame he was a well known Venture Captain after all.
Or was Baron Jacquo's death just a story point. His death has always perplexed me as I have had two characters die on missions and they were both brought back but a venture captain was not.

I think he is actually raised from the dead. The Taldor faction mission involves bringing back his body to make sure he can be, right?

He just retires from The Society/Politics afterwards.

No, the Cheliax faction mission is to recover a body part, but not from Jacquo Dalsine.

And, remember, for a Raise Dead to work, the dead character has to want to come back, and not remain in the afterlife.

Most players usually want to keep playing the same character, but there is nothing saying Jacquo didn't prefer the ease, calm, and luxury of his afterlife, instead of the conflict of working with Pathfinders.

Silver Crusade 4/5

The Taldor faction mission is to meet the Baron's father, which ends up being to pay your respects. I'm thinking the Baron probably ran out of "favors" (prestige points) by the time he died. Too many stupid faction missions.
