Thinking about attending my first society game

I have an itch. An itch to build characters and play more often. Currently I'm in 1 house game and I'm dming a game with my friends. I would still say I'm newish but having a blast. A few questions though. After reading the PDF during my lunch break I didn't notice anything banning archetypes. So all archetypes are fair game? I'm thinking stonelord.

Also I noticed the race limitations are all the core + tengu, tiefling, and aasimar? Am I correct?

Stonelords are awesome. Great survivability, great flavour and able to take the worst evil can dish out straight in the face. All while retaining the all important diplomacy as a class skill. Doooit.

Two things you should know about PFS before building a character: We use a 20 point buy and crafting isn't really accessible outside of those classes who use it for part of their schtick (Alchemist and Gunslinger, mostly). Even those classes can't really make a lot of money off of the crafting.
