armor and shield hardness

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

Can someone point me to the rules that cover armor and shield Break DC and Hardness?

Found it easily for normal items, but rules covering armor and shields has been elusive. Probably just an oversight on my part.

Trying to calculate a sunder attack .... any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

i think the hardness is just determined by the marerial
paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/additionalRules.html#_table-7-13-substance-hard ness-and-hit-points

hit points, there's also a table there
paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/additionalRules.html#_table-7-12-common-armor-w eapon-and-shield-hardness-and-hit-points
-- if your thing is not on the list you might have to wing that a bit.

note in the footnote there - magic weapons and armor have additional +2 hardness per point of enhancement bonus. so e.g. a +3 mithril armor (15+6=21 hardness) is good because it doesn't let the adamantite guy completely blast through it.

I don't think they have break DCs, but that is interesting.
