Can you wear Quilted Cloth armor underneath a hide armor to receive the DR 3/- ?
IIRC, there's nothing in the core rules on wearing multiple suits of armor at the same time (other than some specific pieces like the armored kilt).
The optional rules on piecemeal armor should probably be used as a starting point. However, they specifically state for quilted cloth pieces: "When worn alone, or with only other quilted cloth pieces, you gain DR 3/— against ranged piercing weapons."
