This is the work done for one of two rogue types. Some of it cover the weakness of using a garrot for reals.

Arcadia Strangler (Rogue Archetype)
Strangling Initiate
At 1st level, a strangler gains +2 on grapple attempts and can draw a hidden garrote as a free action. He can use a garrote even on a target that is aware of him, after succeeding the grapple attempt.
This ability replaces trapfinding.
Strangling Mastery
At 3th level, a strangler can apply his sneak attack dice to the damage he does with a garrote, though the dice are reduced to d4s.
This ability replaces trap sense.


Is there any sort of input to be placed on this?

First ability, replace can draw as a free action with move or swift. Free if you have quick draw.
