So the hexcrafter has the following abiliy:
A hexcrafter magus adds the following spells to his magus spell list: bestow curse, major curse, and all other spells of 6th level or lower that have the curse descriptor.
Now the hexcrafter guide didn't cover it so which spells have the curse descriptor?
I could come up with the follwing did I miss any (paizo only).
bestow curse
major curse
band (inqusitor 0)
Eldritch Fever (witch 3, inqusitor 3)
Curse of magic negation (witch 4)
Ill Omen (witch 1)
Blindness/deafness (witch 2)
mark of justice (paladin 4, inqusitor 5)
Cup of dust (witch 3)
feast of ashes (witch 2)

I did this early last year:
Spells: A hexcrafter magus adds the following spells to his magus spell list: bestow curse, major curse, and all other spells of 6th level or lower that have the curse descriptor. Spells marked (APG) are from the Advanced Player's Guide. Spells marked (UM) are from Ultimate Magic.
0-Level Magus Spells—brand (APG).
1st-Level Magus Spells—crafter's curse (APG), ill omen (APG).
2nd-Level Magus Spells—blindness/deafness, disfiguring touch (UM), feast of ashes (APG).
3rd-Level Magus Spells—bestow curse, cup of dust (APG), curse of disgust (UM), eldritch fever (UM), geas (lesser), nature's exile (APG).
4th-Level Magus Spells—brand (greater) (APG), curse of magic negation (UM), reprobation (UM), rest eternal (APG).
5th-Level Magus Spells—curse (major) (UM), mark of justice.
6th-Level Magus Spells—geas/quest.
Cheers!
EDIT: BTW, in Ultimate Magic they did an Update that retconned spells that would have the new descriptors that were added in UM.

Good update on UM spells, however there was a post on this awhile back that tackled it and it disagreed on 3 of them...
Curse of Disgust and Rest Eternal should be 5th level, and Lesser Geas should be 4th.
While yes they are available at lower levels from other classes, the classes the Magus/Hexcrafter comes from (Wiz/Sorc and Witch) have them at those levels.
I understand RAW can go either way, and RAI can't be proven, and to each GM their own, but if this ever gets an official answer (a FAQ would be nice), I'd be amazed if they let you jump to lower spell levels when affiliated classes do get the spell but at a higher level wait. Why a Wiz/Sorc and Witch hybrid would be pulling off a Bard spell level... neither way is more or less RAW, but ask yourself which is more likely the correct way to go.

Thanks, ShoulderPatch.
I don't remember my reasoning at the time (it's been a year since I compiled that list), but it was probably along the lines of, "Curses are their schtick, so it seems logical that they'd get them earlier" or something like that.
I actually never ended up playing one (Getting Hexes is nice. Giving up Spell Recall sucks.), so it's not been an issue for me.
With the slower progression and limited spells/day, I doubt that it would be a game-breaker, but you're right that they should have given us some more guidance (such as "Draw from the Sor/Wiz list first, then the Witch list, then the Cleric list," etc.).
I link-ified that thread for you here: Hexcrafter Curse Spells
I went over there and hit the "FAQ" button. Anyone else that's interested should do the same.
