Bardic Performance?

I was reading bardic performance on page 35 of the CRB but I didn't get the area that is cover by the performance effect and the actual magical effects that it can produce.

Some of the individual performance types have specific ranges, but other than that, the targets only need to be able to see/hear the bard (depending on whether the performance uses visual or audible components).

The area and type of the effects? Area was already answered by Jiggy and reading forward I found fascinate, inspire courage, etc. So I think both are answered now! Thanks!
