Whenever a forgemaster casts a spell that targets a weapon, shield, or armor, the spell takes effect at +1 caster level. If the spell has one or more metamagic feats applied, she reduces the total level adjustment to the spell by 1 (minimum 0).

Does this have to be a spell that has weapon, shield or armor written in the target line or does it work on any spell that the forgemaster decides to cast on one of the three?

Some examples:
1) magic weapon on a weapon (target line weapon, targeting a weapon)
2) light on a shield (target line object, targeting a shield)
3) burning disarm on a weapon (target line held object, targeting a weapon)
Do all of those work? Or only #1?

I'd say that all three would work based upon the wording of the ability, but I have no idea if that is what was intended.
