Hello everybody, I have a little question. If I have a level 7 cleric/ holy vindicator 10 I lose 3 LI. If, after level 10 of HV, I grow up as cleric (level 8), Does my LI increase(taking more level 9 spells etc..) or do simply level 8 cleric and domain power increase withouth increasing LI?

The only thing I can see a 3 from was the caster level increase( the assumed LI) for spells per day. You lose 3 total from the 10 levels of the Holy Vindicator. The cleric domain abilities do not increase with prestige class levels, so at 17, your domain abilities would be at 7th. You would be able to get them at 10th level power at most at 20th level. You spells per day would be at 17th, putting you at your first 9th level spell at level 20.
I'm not sure what LI is, either, but I will say that if you add another level of cleric, you gain all the benefits of that level. That is, you're now classed as a level 8 cleric.
