Want to help me make an annoying stand-in character?

Advice

So here's the scoop, My character has a high chance of death over the next three levels, if he dies then i want to make something completely non-withstandable to my DM.

The DM has allowed many third party content type things, though nothing from 3e/3.5

He has a particular hatred for the serpent archer (Which i love for the hilarity of it)
He also hates the Time Thief but i can't figure a good way to factor that in
This character does NOT HAVE TO BE GREAT just fun

so I've looked at a few things with RAW breakage (Which i've slowly probed out of him for these answers)

A.) He ruled Eldridge heritage to be sufficient enough for the slyvan bloodline with a sigh.. so that's on there.
B.) He doesn't like Drow AT ALL
C.) He uses the hero point/antihero system (Hero points give cool benefits and antihero gives a 1st level bonus feat)
Other than that... he hates hypocrisy so i've done the unthinkable

Race: Half Elf, variance=Drow type, skill focus = nature
level 1: Crossbow sniper(Fighter)
So my general shell is
12 levels in beast master ranger
five levels in serpent archer
then the final three levels will be determined by the racial choice.. which will be my 'capstone'

Choice A: Tiefling and blinding everyone with attacks from sneak attack, along with extremely weak bombs (Blinding sneak)
Choice B: Dhympyr with dayborn racial trait, using serpent shaman to become a snake (Mockingly). and will use vampiric companion and shapeshifting hunter feats

Bonus Feat:Half-Drow Paragon
First Feat: Racial Heritage:Tiefling or dhampyr (Humam only feat, but the feat itself states that archetypes and feats count as unlocked via your race type
Second Feat:Drow Noble
third feat: Eldrich Heritage (Level 6 pet... or 6 level 1 pets....)
Fourth feat:drow noble improved
fifth feat drow noble greater
sixth feat : vampiric animal companion(Dhampyr) blinding sneak(tiefling)

So can anyone assist me in maximizing the potential of this and gating it in such a way that it becomes pretty hellishly annoying at somewhere between levels 5-9?

Again my DM has already agreed to these conditions... just not all rolled into one character.

Why would you want to p*ss off your GM?!

Screw that noise. Broken characters aren't have as annoying as ANNOYING characters.

Step 1: Choose Orc

Step 2: Choose Paladin

Step 3: Drop your Int to 5

Step 4: Show him what "Lawful Stupid" REALLY means.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Wait...

You play in a game where
  • You made a character you knew in advance the GM would not approve of.
  • You know your character is likely to die
  • You are trying to make another character to piss off same GM.

You sir are being much like a donkey.

My advice? Do like your mom probably told you and either play nice or go home?

Sczarni

make your animal companion a wise cracking gorilla named Bobo, smokes cigars, and is incredibly smart (on top of the orc paladin idea)

actually I'm just short on ideas for a backup and my DM is lethal at times, plus i went into a stealth build for the first time and my group isn't very synergistic with that

on top of that we have a pretty unserious group, we play our characters as if they are serious about things but we don't actually always build characters who are very serious... there is a wizard who uses prestidigination to win minor arguments by making rainbows in his hand that say "I don't care", his familliar is a drunken monkey

there is an apeman fighter with anxiety issues

there is a half-orc barbarian woman who is a black stereotype
------

As far as my DM is concerned, the character would be allowed so long as it's not something in the realm of over-the-top overpowered, though most of us optimize to a point. he doesn't outrule the character he just finds the class to be extremely stupid.. and drow to be whiney

We already have an ape, and we had what is called by my group the "Retard pali" with an int of 4. i mean that's the perfect filler when he is convinced that something is evil that blatently isn't and he heroically smites school children thus getting him a firing squad.

Indeed.

Okay I think this a good thread for me to ask for suggestions on my new character, since the rest of this is just basically terrible.

My alchemist died heroically in my LGS weekly game, leaving me with currently playing an elven conjuration wizard in my home game and a human cleric of Iomedae in PFS.

So...I would like an interesting, survivable, damage-dealing build at around level 4-6 to replace my poor Vivisectionist.

Just about everything is allowed except for the classes from Ultimate Combat. (Gunslinger, Ninja, Samurai.) Also, the game is low-money, so you have 150gp to work with for gear. (I'm not kidding.)

Finally, my wife is also looking for a character, so if you have an interesting pair of builds to suggest, then by all means!

While I hope you don't really intend to make a build to annoy your GM (unless it is meant as a joke, and you got another build ready).
Allowing Sylvan through eldritch heritage did make me want to post this suggestion.

Aasimar Pack Lord 1 / Oracle of Nature 19

Every feat goes into Boon Companion, apart from Eldritch Heritage (sylvan) and Celestial Servant. Using favored class to boost the revelation granting a companion, you get to have very many companions.

At level 10 you have:
3* lvl 10 companions
1 lvl 1 companion

At level 15 you got:
2* lvl 15 companions
1* lvl 14 companion
3* lvl 5 companions

At 20 you got:
2 * level 20 companions
5 * level 7 companions
1 * Level 4 companion

And of course, your entire circus is smiting stuff.

Amazingly you seem to be the only one who realized that this is a joke.

I like that build, but I may want to put a level into druid to gain the 3rd party ironskinned template.. and one into mammoth rider so that each creature is huge. but i'd be losing a bit

Actually i'm somewhat considering this but going druid after second revelation, shade of the uskwood feat and potentially 5 in agent of the grave, vampire and vampiric animal companion feat (the one that doesn't replace the other templates)

thus the creatures will have smite evil and only will need charisma, I will give bonuses to them based on their charisma, they will be vampiric ironskinned celestial magical beasts. That will mean I'll sacrifice 1 level 7 companion but my level 4 will be a level 6 companion.
