I have a basic idea of the type of enemies we'll be facing in RotRL, so I'm guessing it won't be much of an issue, but I wanted to confirm. Will a druid that uses Animal Growth or wants to focus on summoning dinosaurs be able to do it in RotRL, or will there be too many instances where spacing will be an issue?

well the basic rules for Dinos are based on your DM.
You can't automatically summon or shape into a dino. Have you seen one before? Do they exist in this world?
Most eco systems dont contain Dinos as a standard animal to be familiar with.
Beyond that, early on, how will you get huge ones? wont you be too low in level at first?

By the time you get animal growth as a spell to mem and carry around, you are dealing with tons of creatures size L or greater. So no, not really a huge problem. see that? huge...ah n/m.
There will be a few areas that it won't be a great tactic(i'm being vague to avoid spoilers), but it is a small percentage. Growth away i say.

I started with a group in the 2nd module. Most of the time it wont be a problem. Especially in the last module, everything is huge in that one.
There are a few dungeons/castles that would be limiting. Just make sure you have a way to shrink your AC when you need too.
