Beast Master Ranger and Natural Combat Style

Rules Questions

I'm Trying to create a Dhampir beast master ranger with the natural combat style. Am I right to understand that the improved empathic link replaces the Entire 6th level feats or can i still take any of the 6th level combat style feats?

You get the link instead of the "free" combat style feat you'd normaly choose at lvl 6.

These feats are not barred from use to you. You can still take them at every odd level and gain them as a normal feat (thus you have to fulfill the prerequisites for them!).

I would presume that come 10th level you could select those bonus feats that first became at 6th.

As an example; upon reaching 10th level your Beast Master could take Eldritch Claws or Vital Strike, or any of the 2nd or 10th level bonus feats.

Ok Thanks for the help. That's pretty much what i wanted to know.

What Krodjin said is correct, the rules speak of adding the feats to your list of total combat style feats available - when you take which feat is completely up to you.
