Why do you let them run? Seriously, why?
One assumes that generally 5 people who know the rules are sitting at a table when this thing happens, and those 5 people have to decide "That person is someone I'm going to invest hours of my time allowing to run a game."
So why do you do it? Why do you come to the table and then complain on here about it?
Maybe for the same reason other people apparently choose 4 "jerk" players to invest hours of their life running a game for, then complain on here about it.
The real question is why someone who allegedly has neither problem (in a group with no "jerk" GMs/players) would then come here and start thread after thread after thread to ask everyone he's not gaming with why they're all so bad to their GMs.

Same reason you are a marathon voter, yet seem to follow me around with copy and paste.
We can multi-task.
The Minnesota/Green Bay is on the wall (I have a projector) and between that and bouncing around on Reddit and Facebook I still have some time to kill.

@Jiggy - Also, didn't the discussion of why I don't want to PFS make it pretty clear what I can't do that I wish I could.
I wish I could go to my FLGS and not run into entitled players who derail games by fighting with the GM about whatever hax build they found on the message board.
If that happens a few less times to a group of players led by some poor GM who just wanted to get more people involved in the game and found himself dealing with somebody who was to much of a pain to get in a regular home game, so they had to ruin a fun store day...
I am actually a really easy player to run. I used to be an occasional problem player before I GMed, then I realized that they guy (or gal) on the other side of the table is actually rooting for you. They want you to win, as that is the only way they get to keep rolling out the story they have been working on for hours and hours. Or at least should be rooting for you if you aren't playing with a jerk.
So why make his (or her) life harder? If it is that bad, there are other tables.

I don't have jerk GMs, I am the jerk GM. None of the other GMs in my circle are bad or jerks in the least, so it has to be me, right?
I take it as a point of pride that my players either haven't noticed yet or enjoy it. Then again my definition of jerk is 'if you give me the opportunity I will gladly kill your character, giggle madly, and ask if you plan to resurrect later or want to have a viking funeral via paper shredder.'

We had this one GM for Champions. He was THE best. The problem was he had stress issues. When things didn't go his way, the game fell apart and suddenly there wasn't a game. We ended up doing something else. I did try running, but I wasn't as good as he was. The rest of us would go to something else, but when he would come back to his senses and ask if we wanted to play Champions again, we'd jump at the chance.
In regular D&D we have a guy that is never good. We have other players that could run the game and have. One guy says that this is his day off after work. We deal with our GM's 'issues' because we have to. He is also willing to put in the time for scenarios. This is something that other players just don't have the time for.
I'm just lucky I'm not posting on these board bemoaning the troubles with my DM!

I agree that it is easy to find a game. It is so much harder to find the type of game in the format one most enjoys, and with compatible players to one's own style.
I get tired of the fairly lame I-am-so-smart-and-always-right posts the internet sports. But I try not to rant about it as often as I used to.
