Vic mentioned at some point they were likely to extend the expiration on the discounts earnt via the heroes and monsters release (since the encounter packs hadn't rolled out as quickly as they had planned).
It might be better to wait until that happens unless you really want multiple copies of the first pack.
I'll cover the cost if this ends up being bad advice and vic said no such thing. ;)
