Trying to give a print/PDF bundle to another person. I keep getting a message that they must have a Paizo account for a download when I try to pick their shipping address from the list. They do have such an account and I added it to my options. But it doesn't show up and I have to put in the address instead, presumably because the order includes the print product. But then when I add the address to the list and try to select it it informs me that a Paizo account is needed...
I was able to separate out different products and successfully buy them a plain PDF (which went through as order 2390216), but I can't seem to buy them a print/PDF bundle. Is there a way to do this? Am I missing something?
I seem to remember it not being possible to gift print copies. (Since Paizo can't guarantee the recipient is still at the old address). I think you have to gift them a PDF and then purchase a print option separately (inputting the address into your own list of addresses - making it your risk if you screw it up). It was a while ago that I tried though.
The alternative I settled on* was to buy them a gift voucher for the appropriate amount and to include what I was intending it for as the gift message to recipient. They might choose to spend it on something else, I guess, but that didnt seem a calamitous outcome to me. (It might even mean that they get a PF Advantage or other discount that you're not entitled to).
