Okay seriously, what's the deal with Totem Warrior?

I had always assumed it was one of those "gimme" archetypes, like Qinggong Monk that didn't replace anything, since on the SRD it says the Totem Warrior archetype can take multiple Totem Rage Powers from different trees.

On the other hand, that line is not on the PRD and someone's telling me it was Errata'd out.

So is the Totem Warrior a gimme archetype, or just a useless piece of fluff?

I get the feeling that it had a purpose at one point, but then that got changed, and no one thought "well, this archetype doesn't do anything anymore, let's remove it."

Hell if I know what the actual case is, though.
