Rules Questions

A large greatclub does 2d8 damage, according to the weapon damage table in the Core Rulebook. How much damage would a huge greatclub deal, and how much would a gargantuan greatclub deal? There are several people in my gaming circle who have very different theories as to what the answer will be, and my semi-official answer has not kept any of them from thinking their answer is right.

Weapon Damage Increases.

NOTE: I pulled this from 3.5's Rule Compendium. I also compared it to the Bestiary 1, 2, & 3. As well as the d20pfsrd.

Cool. Thank you. I was certain that was correct, but I couldn't find a table in the Core Rulebook to prove it.

The Core Rulebook didn't need it. There was no way for a PC/NPC to become Huge+.

Though it should of been in Ultimate Equipment.

You must have missed this.

Grand Lodge

Huge Greatclub 3d8, Gargantuan Greatclub 4d8.

I didn't miss it. I just know a Wizard wouldn't have the proficiency in any weapon that couldn't be handled via the available table and stat blocks.

Huh?

Multiclassing, martial weapon proficiency, attacking without proficiency, racial weapon proficiencies, simple weapons...

Edit: Also, you said "There was no way for a PC/NPC to become Huge+."

And most of the Statblocks available had a weapon that would at least be around what is needed.

Yeah, my laptop hates me I was trying to say easily become that size.

After all being a Level 8 spell does limit its usability.
