Question about Bardic Knowledge

Sorry if this has been covered, but I tried looking through the forums and didn't find an answer.

I'm new to Pathfinder, and so far have only play Fighter or Barbarian because of the simplicity. I started looking at other classes to try and had a question about some of the wording in the Core book. Bards have "Knowledge (all)" as a class skill, but Arcane Trickster, Dragon Disciple, Loremaster, and Pathfinder Chronicler all have "Knowledge (all skills, taken individually)". Does this mean the Bard can put one rank in Knowledge and it counts towards all of the Knowledge areas? For example, if there are 10 Knowledges and you want to have 5 ranks in each, would you have to spend 50 skill points, or just 5?

50. It's an early wording.

No, it simply means that all Knowledge skills are class skills and you must spend skill point on each as normal. You'll notice that Wizards have this as well. The Pathfinder Chronicler version is supposed to be the same thing, but for some reason they phrased it differently which causes confusion.

So it's just that Bard should read "Knowledge (all skills, taken individually)" like each of those Prestige classes?

Yes.

No, because both are valid ways to write the same thing. They mean the same thing. Those classes all have access to every knowledge skill.
