Spells and Alignment

Rules Questions

Short question: Does your alignmnet have any effect on what spells a caster can or cannot cast?

Only if you are a divine caster with an alignment restriction. Clerics, paladins and druids all cannot cast spells that are opposed to their alignment. Lawful good clerics and paladins cannot cast (Or even prepare for that matter) evil or chaotic spells and a chaotic neutral druid could not cast (Or prepare) lawful spells.

Arcane casters typically do not have alignment restrictions, although fluff-wise it would make little sense for an established good wizard to suddenly start busting out evil-aligned spells for no reason.
