Just so I'm not giving a friend wrong info....

The Alchemical Power Components from the Adventurer's Armory pg 26.
Legal or not legal?

And can you give the referance so I can point it out to my friend.

I believe power components are legal for society given you buy them within the normal rules.

What you're looking for is the Additional Resources page:

http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about/additionalResources

Where it says of The Adventurer's Armory:

"Only the 2nd printing of this book or the 1st printing augmented by the current errata (released 7/21/11) are legal for play in Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

"Everything in this book is legal for play with the following exceptions: a pseudodragon is not legal for purchase unless you're a wizard with the Improved Familiar feat, elephants are never legal for play, and armored kilts are not legal."

So yes, those power components are legal.
